The short version. AirMirror Pro has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no update checker. Your recordings and screenshots never leave your PC. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
The free download from this site makes no internet connections at all. If you buy a licence, the app asks our licence server whether your key is valid for your machine — once when you activate, and roughly once a week after that. That request carries two things: your licence key and a Machine ID. Nothing else, ever.
The Microsoft Store edition works differently: instead of a licence key, it asks the Microsoft Store whether you own the Pro upgrade. Details below.
One thing, and only if you buy a licence: a Machine ID. It is a short text string built from two hardware values read from your PC.

It identifies a machine, not a person. It contains no name, no email address, no serial number tied to your
identity, and no location.
If you never enter a licence key, it goes nowhere at all. The Machine ID is calculated and shown to you, and the app opens no connection.
Once you activate a key, the app sends that key and your Machine ID over HTTPS to our licence server, which answers one question: is this key valid for this machine. It happens when you activate, and again when the stored answer is more than seven days old. There is no other request, and nothing about what you mirror, record or do in the app is ever included.
Against your licence we keep the key itself, the Machine ID it is bound to, the date it was activated, and the date it was last checked. That last date means we can tell that a licensed copy checked in and roughly when — about once a week — but not what it was used for, how long it ran, or what was on screen.
The licence server runs on Vercel and stores these records in Supabase. As with any web request, Vercel's standard request logs will include the IP address the check came from. We do not use those logs to identify or profile anyone.
A copy that cannot reach the server keeps working. The answer is cached for seven days, an unreachable server buys three more, and past that the app still runs and still treats you as licensed — it only asks you to reconnect. There is no state in which a paying customer is locked out because of a network failure.
The Store edition does not use licence keys or our licence server. Each time it starts, it asks the Microsoft Store on your PC whether your Microsoft account owns the AirMirror Pro upgrade, and the Store answers yes or no. That exchange is between the app, Windows and Microsoft; nothing is sent to us, and no Machine ID is calculated for it.
If you buy the upgrade in the Store, Microsoft is the seller and processes the payment. We never see your card details, your name or your email address. Microsoft's handling of that data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The one exception: if a licence key bought from this site was already activated on the same PC, the Store edition honours it, and that key is checked with our licence server exactly as described above.
Apart from the licence and Store checks described above, AirMirror Pro makes no outbound internet connections. The only other network traffic it generates is the AirPlay stream between your iPhone and your PC, which stays on your local network and never reaches us or anyone else.
When you control your iPhone from the PC, the app connects to the phone directly over Bluetooth, acting as a mouse and keyboard. That link carries only the pointer movement, clicks, scrolling and keystrokes you send while you are in control. It goes from your PC to your phone and nowhere else, and none of it is recorded or kept.

Payments are handled by Gumroad, which acts as the seller. Gumroad collects the payment details and billing information needed to process the sale. We never see or store your card number. Their handling of that data is governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.
After a purchase we receive your email address and use it for exactly one thing: generating your licence key and emailing it to you. You do not need to supply a Machine ID before paying — a key binds to your machine the first time you activate it. Delivery is sent through Resend. Your email address is not added to a mailing list, is not used for marketing, and is not shared with anyone else.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising scripts. There is nothing here that follows you around.
One thing is worth stating plainly anyway. The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers keep standard request logs including IP addresses, as any web host does. That is not used by us to identify or profile you, and we do not receive it.
Typefaces are served from this domain, not from Google Fonts or any other third party, so loading a page here contacts nobody but our host.
If you enter your email address in the “Get told when the next version ships” box, we store that address so we can tell you when a new version of AirMirror Pro is released. Giving it is entirely optional and nothing else on this site or in the app depends on it.
We delete your address 30 days after you give it to us, automatically, whether or not a release went out in that time. This is deliberate. A mailing list that is never emptied only grows, and so does the harm if it ever leaks; keeping addresses for a fixed short window means the most that could ever be exposed is the last 30 days of signups. It also means this list cannot be used for marketing, which is the point.
Two days before your address is deleted we email you to say so, so the removal is never silent. If you still want notifications at that point, signing up again starts a fresh 30 days. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link that removes your address immediately, and your mail client's own one-click unsubscribe works too.
Alongside the address we store only the date you signed up, the date it will be deleted, and whether the warning email has been sent. We do not store your IP address, your name, your browser, or where you came from. The list is never sold, never shared, and never given to an advertiser. It is used for release notices and nothing else.
The address is held in our database at Supabase and the notification emails are sent through Resend; both process it on our behalf and neither uses it for their own purposes.
AirMirror Pro is not directed at children. The app itself collects no personal information from anyone, so it collects none from children either. The one place this site accepts personal information is the optional notification list described above, which asks for an email address and nothing else; we do not knowingly keep addresses given by children, and any address is deleted within 30 days regardless.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Should the app ever gain a feature that genuinely needs to send something over the internet, that will be described here before the feature ships, and it will be something you opt into rather than something switched on for you.
