The short version. AirMirror Pro does not connect to the internet. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no update checker. Your recordings and screenshots never leave your PC.

The one piece of information involved is a Machine ID, which the app calculates on your own computer so that a licence key can be tied to it. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

What the app collects

One thing, and only if you buy a licence: a Machine ID. It is a short text string built from two hardware values read from your PC.

The serial number of your system volume, which Windows assigns when the drive is formatted
Your CPU vendor name and its model and feature identifiers, for example GenuineIntel

These are combined into a single string that looks like VOL:1A2B3C4D|CPU:GenuineIntel:000B06A2:BFEBFBFF. It identifies a machine, not a person. It contains no name, no email address, no serial number tied to your identity, and no location.

The app never transmits this by itself. The activation window displays the string and you copy it and send it during purchase, so a key can be generated that works on your machine. If you never buy a licence, the Machine ID is calculated and shown to you and goes nowhere at all.

AirMirror Pro makes no outbound internet connections at all. The only network traffic it generates is the AirPlay stream between your iPhone and your PC, which stays on your local network and never reaches us or anyone else.

All of it is on your disk, under your control, and can be deleted by you at any time. None of it is uploaded.

Buying a licence

Payments are handled by Gumroad, which acts as the seller. Gumroad collects the payment details and billing information needed to process the sale. We never see or store your card number. Their handling of that data is governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.

After a purchase we receive your email address and the Machine ID you supplied, and use them for exactly one thing: generating your licence key and emailing it to you. Delivery is sent through Resend. Your email address is not added to a mailing list, is not used for marketing, and is not shared with anyone else.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising scripts. There is nothing here that follows you around.

Two things are worth stating plainly anyway. The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers keep standard request logs including IP addresses, as any web host does. The page also loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see your IP address when the font files are fetched. Neither is used by us to identify or profile you, and we do not receive that data.

Children

AirMirror Pro is not directed at children, and since it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Should the app ever gain a feature that genuinely needs to send something over the internet, that will be described here before the feature ships, and it will be something you opt into rather than something switched on for you.
