The short version. AirMirror Pro is free to use. A $14.99 licence removes the five-minute limit and the watermark from recordings. One purchase covers one machine, there is no subscription, and the licence does not expire.

A licence to use AirMirror Pro on one computer. You are not buying the software itself, and the licence is not transferred to anyone else when you sell or give away a PC.
The licence does not expire. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and there is nothing to renew or cancel. If the price changes later, it does not change for you.
A licence key binds to a single computer the first time you activate it. It binds to a Machine ID — a string built from your system volume serial number and your CPU model identifiers. It identifies a machine, not a person. The privacy policy explains exactly what that string contains and what is sent.
You do not need to supply a Machine ID before paying. The key binds the first time you activate it, so you can buy first and install later.
Email support@airmirrorpro.com and we will release the key from the old machine so you can activate it on the new one. There is no charge for this and no limit set in advance on how many times you can do it. Rebuilding a PC, replacing a drive or changing a CPU can all change the Machine ID, and all of them count as the same situation — just tell us.
A licensed copy asks our licence server whether your key is valid for your machine: once when you activate, and again when the stored answer is more than seven days old. That request carries your licence key and your Machine ID, and nothing else.
A paid licence is never locked out because our server is unreachable. The answer is cached for seven days, and if the server cannot be reached when that runs out, the app keeps working on three further days of grace. If our infrastructure ever goes away for good, a build that stops asking will be published rather than leaving anyone stranded.
The free version makes no internet connections at all. If you never enter a key, nothing is sent anywhere.
Because mirroring is free with no time limit, and free recordings of up to five minutes are real recordings from the same engine, you can evaluate AirMirror Pro on your own PC before paying anything, and refunds are not offered as a matter of course. Please do that first, on the actual PC you intend to use.
If the licence does not work, that is a different matter. If your key will not activate, or the watermark does not go away, email support@airmirrorpro.com and we will either fix it or refund you. The same applies if a licensed copy still stops recordings at five minutes. We would rather refund someone than have them stuck with something that does not work.
Where you live may give you statutory refund rights that are stronger than this. Nothing here limits those. Payment is handled by Gumroad, which acts as the seller, and their own terms apply to the transaction as well.

The AirPlay engine runs as a separate process and its source is available under GPLv3 at the project repository. The GPLv3 terms govern that component, and nothing on this page overrides them.
AirMirror Pro is provided as it is. It runs on Windows 10 and above, and it depends on your network, your phone and your PC — a great deal of which is outside our control. We do not promise it will work with every device, every network or every future version of iOS, and we are not liable for lost recordings, missed streams or anything else that follows from using it. Buy the licence for what the free version already does on your machine, not for what it might do later.
